Tour Details:
Tour Information (This is a typical itinerary. Times may vary depending on the cruise line arrival and departure times):
10.00 Picton i-Site carpark*
10.45 St. Clair Winery, Jacksons Winery or Rock Ferry Winery
11.45 Forrest Winery, Framingham Winery or Fromm Winery
12.45 Nautilus Winery, No. 1 Family Estate or Whitehaven Wines
1:45 Hunters Winery
2.45 Makana chocolate factory shop
3.30 Return to i-site
* When you get off the ship you need to be shuttled to the i-Site.
The shuttle buses will take you into town and drop you off outside the Picton i-Site (information centre). This transfer takes around 10 minutes from the time the bus departs the dock (It pays to try to leave the ship early because that will be where the holdup is). We will be waiting outside the i-Site in the carpark. We will be in a 12 seater minibus with Bubbly Grape Wine Tours written on it, You driver/guide will have a Bubbly Grape Sign, and we will be there at least 15 minutes before pick up time.
We have to pick you up from there because your tour is not booked via the cruise ship.
All of the wineries offer cheese platters and other snacks, so while we don’t stop for a formal lunch break (due to the limited amount of time available to you), you will be able to get something tasty to tide you over and we are happy to phone ahead to place an order on your behalf. We definitely recommend a hearty breakfast on the day of your tour.
Pickup time generally varies between 9:30 and 10:00am and you will be returned to the pickup point comfortably before the time stipulated by your cruise operator
Prices: Approximately NZ$195 per person
